Extasy is a hilarious, tragic, and often times cynical look at young adults attempting to assimilate into adult society. Connor is a 20 something slacker that dreams of being a musical producer but after his break up with the beautiful and manipulative Liz, Connor shuts down and gives up on his dream. All appears to be lost when Connor receives a chance for redemption when Liz contacts him asking that he attend her going away party before she moves to New York. Hilarity and insecurity ensues as Connor realizes that he is not the only ex-boyfriend attending the party. Things are further complicated as Julia, one of Connor and Liz’s closest friends attends as well. Julia despite her friendship for Liz has always had an attraction to Connor who appears to oblivious to see it. Connor is joined by his best friend the dense but charismatic Video game tester Phil as they both try to make sense of the “real world” and how it relates to their own lives.
