Meet the Crew
Matthew Brooks
Matthew "Spike" Brooks Studied Video Production and Creative Writing at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. After graduating in 2007 Matt relocated to beautiful state of Colorado in order to start Ghatt Productions. He currently resides in South Eastern Ohio. His resume includes a wide range of shorts such as Her After, My Brothers Keeper, and Masquerade. Other works include commercial work for the Sports Barber, MVP Sports Bar, and Morning Star Vegetarian Products. His most notable projects are three feature films: Ex-tasy, Bone Cave, and Serial Nightmares.
Dee Brooks
Dee Brooks studied Psychology and Religion at Ashland University where she met Matt. Dee has always had hobbies in Photography, and started at Ghatt Productions by doing DVD artwork for Bone Cave. Dee then began writing for Ghatt Productions and slowly kept adding on more duties during the prodution of the Ghatt film Serial Nightmares. She learned Special Effects make up for Night of the Hippie Dead, did camera work for Electronic Mechanical Organism, then lastly tried her hand at editing, including audio corrections given Dee's background as an audio tech. Dee continues at assist Ghatt Productions in whatever capacity she is capable.
J.R. Williams
J.R. Williams and Matt Brooks are childhood friends who teamed up for Serial Nightmares, J.R. provided Ghatt Productions with the score for the movie. He is also a member of the Cleveland based rock group Negative Distortion. His musical specialty is best discribed as industrial, rock, goth, and metal. J.R. is adaptable to many styles of music when meeting the needs of a film's score. He continues to work on films for Ghatt Productions while cutting an EP for Negative Distortion available later in 2013.
